Enjoyed this book...

Even though the stories are only the first in a series there was no cliffhanger. My only complaint is the grammatical errors in all of them. Where are the editors?!

Bu türe dair ne hissedeceğimi/düşüneceğimii merak ettiğim için bu ücretsiz "tanıtım" kitabını okumaya başlamıştım. İçerisinde 7 öykü olduğunu söylüyor ama aslında üç novelladan oluşan bir eserin ilk parçası, ve kaç parçadan oluştuğunu bilmediğim başka kitapların ilk bölümleri var "tanırım" amaçlı. İlk novelanın sonu cliffhanger olarak bitiyor, okuyucuyu diğer kitapları satın almaya çağırıyor. Eh, makul.

Edebi anlamda süpersonik bir anlatım, derin betimlemeler, akıl alan bir kurgu beklemiyordum. Eserin mevzusu belli zaten. Sadece... Kadınların bu kadar nesne olduğu, hayallerin bu kadar ABD rüyası çerçevesinde döndüğü, tüm ilişkilerin acı ve zevk üzerinden yürütüldüğü bir anlatıyı görmemeyi dilerdim. Karakterin tepkileri, kabullenemeyişi, kendisini bırakışı vs. düşünüldüğünde çok "doğal" geliyordur eminim bir takım ABD vatandaşlarına ve o tandanstaki eserlere alışkın olanlara. Beni rahatsız etti.

Ama şundan da eminim ki benzer temadaki pek çok kitaptan daha kalitelidir. Aseksüelleri saymazsak insanın görece en temel güdüsüne hitap eden şeyler yazıp ilgi toplamak zor olmadığı için yetenekli, yetenekiz herkes bir şeyler karalıyor. Eminim bu yazarın diğer kitapları da bu türü sevenlerce okunmaya değerdir.

İçerisindeki o tek bölümlük tanıtım zamazingolarını okumadım çünkü cliffhanger sevmiyorum ve yarım kalmış hikayeler bende rahatsızlık yaratıyor.

Oh, the apostrophes!

DNF. Why is it so difficult to find an author who knows when and where to use apostrophes? Other typos abound (e.g., "sense" instead of "since"), stilted, lackluster dialogue punctuates the narrative, and in the first "book" our heroine has the option not to turn herself into a prostitute and chooses just the opposite. Sexy reading is all well and good, but let's allow our protagonists some self-respect.

All the stories were an interesting start to many books by this author. The grammar should have been improved by anyone who preread these stories.
A lot of grammical errors need to be fixed.
I will give it a bit of a thought whether I want to complete any of these book.
