Pretty solid issue. It took a moment to figure out/remember how they ended up on this different planet. I tend to like the issues with guest stars a little bit less because it kind of takes away from the great chemistry between Jon and Damian. There were still some great moments here like the two girls (Hard Line and Big Shot? Really? That was all we could come up with?) thinking that Damian was Jon's little brother because he's smaller.
Most interesting was Jon, once again, getting recognized as being more useful in a fight. Don't get me wrong, several people underestimate Damian. He's been a master at combat and has startling intellect. He's definitely on the list of most competent fighters in the DC universe (after my daughter Cass of course). But next to Jon, people just assume he can't do more than use his grappling hooks to get from place to place.
So, the best part of this was Damian and Jon coming together to use battle strategy. However, I'm not super interested in the plot line. I enjoyed the villain more than I thought I would.
I still love this series. It gets better as Damian becomes less of a jerk, too.
The art is top notch and the story feels like a journey back to the golden age where wild fantasy was the norm and our heroes worked through it anyway.
This comic was a little hard to get into. I think my lack of comic book knowledge kind of hindered my enjoyment of this comic. There were some cute Superboy moments and the idea of fighting a planet is cool but I struggled to figure out what exactly was going on.
We also meet two new characters Hard Line and Big Shot, who I thought were fine.
Superboy: Who the H are they? Robin: I have no idea. Robin: And your parents are a whole dimension away. You can curse here.
Superboy is still the best.

Again, another super cute issue but with a good story. We can really see Damien and Jon working together now which is great. I didn't think their dynamic could get any better but they've really grown in just 7 issues. As always, looking forward to more!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 And so glad Tomasi hasn't abandoned this title ❤️
This arc pretty much drops us into the middle of the action. The boys seem to be stuck on some weird planet. They find two girls whose home planet was destroyed and are being hunted down. The villain is apparently a creature named Ygarddis who feeds off of the clay in planets. Quite terrifying if you ask me. Ygardiss has started making a huge army of clay to attack Superboy and Robin. An alternative version of the villain Kraklow is also related to what is going on with Ygardiss. Not completely clear on what he has to do with it exactly. At least not yet. Will have to read the rest to see how I feel about this arc.
I don't mind to read about another dimension, but the story about this magician... I don't like it too much. Peraphs, the only thing that I love the most are this two lovely boys!
