Get ready to laugh, cry and tear your hair out over this wonderful P&P variation romance, showcasing the best of humor, banter, insults, affections and etiquette from the regency era and beyond.
I have read this on FFnet with a different title and author name.
Many authors use different names on different sites or when they publish but I wonder if this is legitimately published by its author. _______________________ 9-20-2017
Stephanie Bell apparently has stolen works from other authors as well.
I am dropping the rating on this because of the theft.
I would probably give this 3 stars if I were to rate what I read. However, this is strongly suspected of being a story plagiarized from a fan fiction site. Under the circumstances, it actually deserves zero stars.
Reading the book description and the reviews on this P&P Variation left me debating on if I wanted to read it. Not much info on it gave me any hint if it was worth it. I have to say, I am so very happy I took the chance. This was the first book I have read by this author and I will definitely look for more by her.
The whole original cast was there plus a new one. A few personality changes in some characters and well worth it too (the ones you admired best are still in good order). The best is Colonel Fritzwillam! I love him! He was hilarious...had me chuckling out loud several times. I totally loved the way the author wrote Darcy and Elizabeth's first 💋, she had me feeling it down to my toes. I was disappointed in the way she wrote Caroline and Elizabeth's interactions with each other, just disappointed and not discouraged. I totally recommend this Pride and Prejudice Variation to all.
Loved how this author turned just about everything on it's head...granted there were a few moments it was dragging but the twists and turns more than made up for those parts!
A different story with some additional characters making complications. I liked the new Lady Catherine with a sense of humour. The writing was a little choppy in places and the inaccuracies were a little annoying. But the story was good and I enjoyed reading it.
