La France en danger et les secrets de Picasso

Pablo Picasso’s mural Guernica is on display during the 1937 International Exposition in Paris. Opposing sides of French politics, Charles de Gaulle and Maréchal Pétain, quickly realize that the painting contains clues to the whereabouts of the supernatural Spear of Destiny. Its occult power can change the outcome of the French Resistance, just as it has done in other conflicts throughout history. As Pauline’s imagination begins to decipher the hidden symbols, Marechal Petain’s secret agents are not far behind her. They are ready to capture the Spear at the most opportune moment, convinced that impulsive Pauline will betray her quest for the Spear.

WOW. What a page turner. I highly recommend this book to any of my french fluenties out there😌🤌The whole time i was SO worried about france because it was in so much danger!!🚨🤧😅The only thing wrong with this book is that Pauline and Marcel did not end up together and for that i give it three stars. Like they had so much tension and could have been really hot enemies to lovers😤🥵 anyways.. Rhyan you’ll get the privilege of reading this next year so🤞good luck

This was my first french book that I've ever read. I got to say, I would have rated this book a lot higher if it actually ended. Sure they got the spear of destiny, but what about saving the world with it? Also I was sort of invested in the soap opera that was happening in the background. If Pauline and Marcel got together at the end, then I would be a lot happier.

Read for French 1. My teacher is an antisemitist. Cheered for Marcel and Roger and defended the Nazis. Wanted to off myself. All I gotta say goodbye. Also side note Luc has zero rizz.

Luc served no purpose other than to light Pauline’s hair on fire.

It was very easy to understand with a minimal understanding of the language. The story was interesting too, but slightly odd. I thought the ending was very anticlimactic.

I did this book for French class. I really enjoyed reading a book in a different language and I thought the book was well written. I liked the pictures in every chapter of France because they gave a better understanding of the book. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in reading a fun French book.

Good book, I just wouldn't read it again or if they came out with a sequel, I don't think I would read it.

Why is everyone saying that marcel and Pauline should’ve gotten together. Man’s was a NAZI.
