This was the assigned textbook for the class I'm teaching this semester, Introduction to Criminal Justice Studies.

It was way more updated than the textbooks I have for my other classes which was pretty nice.

Used this book during my intro to criminal justice class. A very decent read given the subject matter.

I had to read this textbook for a class and while it was informative, I found it to be dull. It was hard to focus because there was no pizzazz in the writing. Could use an upgrade.

I used this book for my Intro to the Justice System class and I thought it gave a lot of helpful information, some of which surprised me and helped enlighten me in the field of criminal justice. Of course there were those moments when I had to study/read these long chapters and I ended up falling asleep, ripping a page of my rented book by accident and the teacher had us skip the chapters on parole and cyber crime and all that, but over all, it was informative and I would definitely recommend this book as a good reference aid to the law if not for class.
