Wow! Evelyn Glass never disappoints with her stories and this one is no different. Please be aware that there are a few very dark scenes in this book. If that's not for you, you may want to consider skipping this one. Otherwise, this is a fantastic story! Drama, kidnapping, frantic searches, danger, abuse, passion, love and motorcycle races. This one will take you on a he'll of a ride and you will enjoy every minute of it. Absolutley loved that Evelyn Glass was not afraid to go to the dark places for this story as it really brought your emotions to the foreground and helped you underatand that a mother will do anything for her child. The pages never stopped turning with this one. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Yet another great book by Evelyn Glass. As ever there is a great story, with plenty of action, intrigue and romance. The thing that sets this apart as ever, if the amazing set of characters. They each have such depth, you truly like them all... No need to mentally strangle the heroine for being stupid, irrational or weak! They are all people you can feel real emotions for, you feel like you really know them, even if you really don't like them all... But you aren't supposed to like the bad guys!
The story is about Dixon and Daisy, the threats to his MC and the kidnapping of her son. The trials and tribulations they go through to discover who and what the threat is to the MC, how to rescue her son, and how to survive the coming storm.
I definitely recommend this book, and I dare you not to fall in love with the relationship between Dix and... James (it is beautiful)... His feelings for Daisy are great too!!

Previously tilted Dixon: Cutthroat 99 MC by Amy Love
Only a few gritty bits that was dark in nature but overall it's more sweet kind of romance. The blurb makes it sound more gritty then it really is. Cutthroat's deal in illegal events, motorcycle speed racing, that's it, and rarely kill anyone. Dixon 'Dix' is a kind gentleman, crew chief and mechanic for the racing bikes.
Daisy the ex old lady to Leo in the Firechrome MC, she has been dealing with abuse from Leo, including being raped in the past and once in this story. She dealt with court, his doing, and Leo kidnapped their son and ran. Into the Cutthroat's territory, just to take the easy way to get cash, the racing.
Did and his club with the help of Daisy's inside information will get them prepared for the coming war and try to keep their small club alive and for Daisy to finally get her son back into her arms, but every turn there will be bumps, twisting turns and ditches that will get in their paths. Will Dix win for the people he cares for or will he lose everything including Daisy's life....

Absorbing and fast paced..
A gripping dark MC romance…with Dix who builds racing bikes for the Cutthroats 99 and Daisy a single mother…their paths cross when Daisy needs the assistance of the club and Dix is the member chosen to assist…
The story is told from Dix’s and Daisy’s points of view…both have their own trauma to deal with and the interactions between them are intense at times but also there is clearly a chemistry and sexual attraction leading to some v. hots scenes…Dix’s friends are the typical biker band of brothers all for one and one for all…I love those guys and their codes of loyalty and courage under fire…
When the enemy is at the gates it will take all the Cutthroats strength to overcome the threat and all of Dix’s and Daisy’s resolve to stay strong and overcome their fears …this was an absorbing fast paced read …..I received a copy of this book from the author.

Evelyn sure knows how to write a good book. This is dark, with some very dark themes. There is abuse, kidnapping, captivity and a romance that has a dark side too. However if you can deal with all of that then you will see that this book is so worth it. You will fall in love with not only the story itself, but the people in the book too. The way that Evelyn wrote them it was so easy to fall in love with them too. They are well developed and the chemistry was so hot between them . If you like a good MC book, then I highly recommend this one. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Another gripping read from Evelyn Glass.
The plot is pacy and has all the elements you'd expect from an MC book, violence, death, kidnapping, trauma, and of course love.
Dixon and Daisy meet when she seeks to exchange information for help with finding her son who has been kidnapped by her ex, a member of a rival and dangerous MC.
Both Dixon and Daisy have traumas to overcome whilst dealing with the lies, treachery, and violence around them. How they do this is beautifully written, making them characters to love.
There is lots of excitement and vivid descriptions around the road race that is at the core of the plot.

Wow loved this book. Daisy leaves an mc member and is finding life tough especially when her ex does lots of things to try and destroy her. After kidnapping her son Daisy goes looking and finds another mc group who is totally different from her ex's. She offers them help in return for them helping her find her son. Great story would definitely recommend.

Another fantastic read by Evelyn Glass. The story of Daisy and Dixon will have you feeling like you are on a rollercoaster going from heartbreak to romance and then back to heartbreak and onto the the grand finale of the HEA. Absolutely loved this book which keeps the readers attention from start to finish. If MC books are your thing this is a five star must read. I voluntarilarily read this book in exchange for an honest review.

A paperback book is better value
I hate it when you get a free book only to find out that the whole story has been divided into several very short books more like chapters than books, just to make you pay around £10 for the whole thing. Really slow story wouldnt entice me to pay for the rest.

I avoided/ passed this book by several times because the blurb made it sound very dark. Then, I gave it a chance figuring if it WAS dark, I would just quit reading it. What I found was a love story with good guys and bad guys and an HEA. Glad I took the chance.

Excellent read, so thrilling and gripping. Every girl needs a saviour, and what a wonderfully sexy one she found!!! Loved it!
