A year has passed since the first Twisted Metal Tournament. Much of Los Angeles remains in ruins. A host of competitors returns in search of the tournament?s organizer, Calypso. They?ve heard he?ll grant a wish to the winner of the second tournament.
Calypso is a being of pure evil. He feeds on the destruction and mayhem the tournament assures, and his mystical powers are a powerful lure to those chasing a dream. But the prize won?t be easy to attain. More contestants will battle for victory in a tournament whose focus has been shifted to a global scale. Some come for power, others for revenge; a few have hidden agendas. One thing is certain, Calypso will do his best to insure that no one claims the prize they seek.

About the Author
Anthony James is the author of Super Mario RPG Game Secrets Unauthorized, Beyond the Beyond Unauthorized Game Secrets , and Deception Unauthorized Game Secrets (Prima).
Anthony James spent his youth reading what might now be called classic sci-fi and fantasy books. These days, he spends time in his study with the door locked against rampant and ferocious toddlers, writing books of his own.
That's the third person stuff out of the way.
For anyone who's read any of my books, you'll know that I write action science fiction that pulls no punches and which doesn't cram the good stuff into the last couple of chapters. The action starts early and it doesn't let up. I also take care to mix in plenty of humanity. The characters I write are all distinctly believable, often facing uncaring enemies and overwhelming odds. When they win, it's because they did their best.
Go on. Punch an alien today. Better yet, check out my series of books, each one filled with action, technology, warfare, aliens and against-the-odds survival. Lots of kick-back-and-enjoy weekend or evening reading.
This is actually for the Twisted Metal 2 comic, and not whatever this thing is. Again, blame GoodReads for whatever the fuck they are doing over here.
Anyways, I gotta say, I do appreciate this comic's existence, because this comic actually gives you the lore that you're looking for, whereas the games are all focused on the death and destruction......... with that being said though, I don't give a shit about this, because Sweet Tooth isn't in it, and that's terrible.
