Bad Guys Beware!

Batman is the star of this book with three new stories of how he beats the bad guys. I love Batman so this was super fun to read.

In the first story, Gotham city zoo was about to reopen. Then the animals escaped by breaking through the gate. Elephants, giraffes and penguins were on the loose. Bruce Wayne was there and called his butler Alfred. Then Wayne transformed into Batman. He called for help from his friends, the Flash, Supergirl, Aquaman and Green Lantern. They rounded up all the zoo animals. But it was a trick. Someone had stolen jewelry while the good guys got the animals. It was the Penguin! I don’t want to give away the end but you’ll like it.

In the second story, it was unusually cold in Gotham City. Batman decided to investigate. He found two freeze rays on Wayne Tower. Captain Cold and Mr. Freeze were at it again! Batman had to stop them. Flash distracted the bad guys and Supergirl and Superman broke the freeze rays. It was cool!

In the third story, Batman tried to find the missing Joker. Batman looked in the newspaper and saw an ad for clown school. It sounded just like the Joker. Batman asked Supergirl for help. I won’t tell you how they did it but together they took down the Joker. It was so funny when Supergirl hit a bad guy in the face with a pie.

I loved these stories. They were easy to read and funny. I would recommend them for any kid age 5 and up. I give this book five stars

Fun Lego adventures featuring the Justice League.

This book is set up as an illustrated chapter book, perfect for readers who are ready to bridge the gap between picture books and chapter books. The book contains three separate stories.

Full of puns and silly scenarios, the stories are very entertaining.

Nice illustrations complete with speech bubbles, nice comic-esque touch.

Overall, good book. I picked this up from the library to look through with a kid I work with who loves Lego and superheroes. He enjoyed the illustrations, especially the fight scenes.

Mama and I read this together over a few nights. I don't know much about superheroes yet, but I love Legos!
