You're A Reflection Of Me: A Hood Love Story
Quinton, also known to the streets as Quick, had nothing but a hard life. Starting from the moment his parents were taken away from him on his 14th birthday. Forced to grow up in the system, he, along with his boys, got tired of struggling, and spent hours in the trap and on the block to take over the streets of Columbus, Ohio.
Years after working to get where he is, and finally getting to be where he wanted to be, the king of the streets. Reuniting with the love of his life, Quick is ready to put his all into his hustle with his queen by his side. When things go left and Quinton gets charged for a crime he did not commit, he begins to question everyone he knows .
Carla a retired gangster is ready to pick up where she left off, Reuniting with her true love, she had no choice in walking away from many years ago. Carla is ready to pick up where she left off. Leaving all the bad memories in her past city, she's ready to move back home to the city where it all started for her.
When the only man she ever loved gets taken from her, she has no choice but to go back to her old gangster ways and show everyone how she is truly a reflection of the gangster who owns her heart.
After years on the block and leaving the streets alone, Quel and Mel the best friends of Carla and Quick are comfortable with their lives as a trauma doctor and a defense attorney. Slim is That Bih
I loved this story! Slim was that Bih that was Quinton's ride or die and she definitely rode for her man till the end! Now my ni**as Quel and Mel rode for their friend till the wheels fell of and they got his back! Now I can't wait for Part 2 to come out because I need to see if they breaking my dog out of jail and I have a feeling that slim is not dead! This book is a must read!

When you're smart with degrees bit srill street if need to be. I love thses men characters. They will do anything to protect the people they love. Quick was still the man of the city but jealousy had him sitting down for a min. They just dont know that the beast had been unleashed. He loved Carla with everything in him. Mel and Quel are about to turn the city upside down. They aint ready

1st read by this author. Good action packed chapters. Likable main characters. Slim was determined to ride or die regardless of what Quick told her. Mel & Quel were all about their business, loved the dual roles. Even James had heart. Good beginning of series, looking forward to finding out who's the mystery person

Noooo not Carla! I just knew she was going to be ok! I cant wait until Quick get out & handle LB! This book was so good! I was done in 2days! Would’ve been a few hours if i didn’t have to work. I cant wait until pt 2! The suspense is already killing me! Wish i could give this more than 5 stars!!

Great Story
I enjoyed reading this book. So many twists, turns and secrets. Very action packed towards the end which had my attention all the way up. That ending has me wanting more. Have to start part 2 I need to know if carla is really dead and who shot the guards at the funeral home.

Wow.....
I surely didn't expect this ending. Wow.... I didn't even expect Carla to die. But atleast she took out JT before she died. Quick is gonna lose his mind now. I'm glad that they got James back. I can't wait to read who's trying to kill Quick. Great job mama! This was fire right here! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This book was awesome from page one!!!! It was action packed. It was well written! I advise everyone to read this. So many snakes, betrayal, and backstabbing. The ending killed me.

Great debut! This is the second book that I have read by this author, and I can already tell that she is going to be great! She writes about relatable characters, adds depth into their back stories, and has a good storyline and flow. I am looking forward to Part 2! :)
