Walking on Water: Overcoming obstacles to the supernatural life

Rate this book
“A wonderful, inspiring book that tackles head-on some of the issues that stop us becoming all we can be in Jesus. Buy it, read it, live it, and overcome the obstacles that can so easily hold us back.” – Gavin Calver, Director of Mission, Evangelical Alliance

“This book will inspire and encourage you to keep going, keep growing, keep moving towards the finish line, knowing that with Christ all things are possible.” – Arianna Walker, Chief Executive of Mercy UK

“Real. Raw. True. Paul and Becky open up to give us the keys to living the naturally-supernatural life.” – Rob Peabody, Founder & CEO, Awaken Movement

When Jesus walked on water, he revealed his glory. When he invited Peter to leave the boat and join him, he revealed something that radically challenges every believer’s life…

All disciples are called to join with Jesus in a supernatural lifestyle of walking with God, which includes miracles, signs, and wonders. But each of us has barriers in our head or heart that easily prevent us from being able to get out of the boat. Drawing on their own stories – especially Becky’s powerful testimony of restoration after tragedy – Paul and Becky show how God is faithful and able to heal and transform, releasing us to step into things we never believed possible.

Some chapters might be useful for someone who has a Christian background but finds himself or herself in a vague spiritual state of mind. The approach could be at times more from a disguised psychological and counseling perspective.

Great book. I really enjoyed the transparency with which Paul and Becky have written their story. Really worth the read.
