Unfortunately, not everything is going as smoothly as Malina would like. The latest bad guy on her radar, a rogue vampire, is proving impossible to pin. Leaving a string of missing persons in his wake, and showcasing some serious ninja skills, this target isn't exactly the stop and chat type. And if that wasn't bad enough, life has also decided to throw in a series of witch blood kidnappings, and an investigation order from the Mayfair Coven's High Witch.

(FYI I tend to only review one book per series, unless I want to change my scoring by 0.50 or more of a star. -- I tend not to read reviews until after I read a book, so I go in with an open mind.)

I really enjoyed this book. There are only a few things keeping me from five stars. With as much depth, detail and spacing attempted in the first two books I felt the last one was rushed. I almost felt it could/ should have been spaced out into a fourth book or just a longer book in general. I felt some of the endings of chrs where just cut off. That being said we got enough background for most chrs to figure out who they where for the story but mainly because of a index. I loved the books just wish they were longer for more details!

The Gatekeeper Chronicles is a thrilling and fast paced series that every paranormal thriller/suspense/romance fan should own. Malina is such a great female lead - strong, stubborn but good hearted. She makes rash decisions without thinking but it is only because she is trying to do what is best for those she loves. You will quickly become invested in these in depth characters. I look forward to more from both of these Authors
