This book is about two sisters who have the same father but don't know the other one exists. When their father dies, a lawyer contacts the oldest sister Rosie and tells her that she needs to find her younger sister Randi before the will can be read. After searching, Rosie finds Randi and they decide to meet, reluctantly. Their first meeting doesn't go very well and there is a lot of anger towards one another, but soon, after time, the two sisters find that they are all they have left and after many ups and downs in their relationship, they realize what is more important to them, and that is sisterhood.
