J.D. Havis is a 30 year Spanish teacher from Augusta, GA. She is currently in college for the third time to receive her Master’s degree in Spanish. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, and a Master’s degree in Adult Online Learning. She has travelled abroad to Spain to further her learning of Spanish and hopes to go to Costa Rica in the near future. She has taught in Georgia and Texas where she was stationed at Fort Hood with her husband. She has two dogs named Zara and Nanook. She loves to travel and has travelled as far west as Alaska with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing poetry (which she has published),watching Netflix and Hulu, talking on the phone, playing board games and card games, playing the piano and the guitar, and playing with her dogs.
