A relatively short and easy read. This book includes a lot of great ideas and reminders for teachers. I enjoyed the positive nature of the book as well as the emphasis on building relationships with students and colleagues. The questions at the end of the chapters were a nice way for me to reflect upon my own teaching and gave me ideas to incorporate into my own life as a teacher.
A book that carefully requires that you reflect on your own experiences and reexamine all the lessons you taught throughout your career. Shattering the Perfect Teacher Myth is written in a way that motivates you to want to be more, do more, and give more. A must read for every educator.
