Andrew Samuel Fuller was a botanist, horticulturist, writer, and insect collector who lived in the New York and New Jersey area. He wrote articles for newspapers, and published his first book The Strawberry Culturist in 1862. From 1868 to 1894 he was editor of the Weekly Sun, and distributed seed with subscriptions. He authored several books on botany, and dozens of papers on insects, and sent several insect specimens to American Entomologist. The Fuller rose beetle (Aramigus fulleri) is named for him.
