Calvin “Hawk” Cason
Hawk was in the streets, but he wasn’t like your typical hustler. Hawk was about his money and loved his woman. So much so that everything he gave Charlie was hers. He never wanted her to feel like the things that he did were because he was buying Charlie’s affection or because he wanted to control her. Charlie owned the title to everything Hawk purchased for her, so with or without him, her life would always be financially stable. Hawk knew that Charlie loved him and not the things that he did, so he had no problem helping to secure her future.

Glad I got this series because it's that good good....
Very glad I jumped and decided to start this series because it's looking to be a good move.
Charlie, wow, what a girl. She is beautiful, intelligent, her own boss, and selfless. Loyal, protective, she believes in the good of everyone which makes her very naive and gullible.
Delvin "Fray" is THE MAN. Alpha, boss man, thug, kingpin, also very loyal, very protective, but very smart. He does his own thing on his own time and nobody can stop him.
Yazmine "Yaz", well nothing good can be said about her. Jealousy, envy, selfish, self centered, only knows one thing, and that's her yet she befriends Charlie just to make a competition out her life. I can't wait to have karma visit her. Definitely hope she doesn't stick around.
Calvin"Hawk" well, what can you say about a man who is acting like a child, made his bed, and when he saw his sheets are not correct, he can't accept the turn of events.... Surely hope karma also has a visit for him as well as Rio and Red....
So now let's see how this 2nd book will play out because this one was very good.

Good read
This book has a lot of snakes in it. Don't trust nobody.
The author takes you through a web of lies and deception. Charlie can't see the jealousy of her best friend. Her ex is a pretender with a crazy baby mother. Fray thinks it will be easy moving from out of hawk shadow but opens himself up for other competition to try and take what he got by using the people around him that he took from hawk squad. Street rules if they leave for greener pastures there is always going to be a pasture greener than the last. Even you treat them better. Trek is a chunky king pin who stop at nothing to get what hawk and fray built using anything and anybody to get it. Will fray and hawk put their difference aside for the one thing they both love.you got read find out.

In for Fray and Charlie. I like that she is not into the streets even though she's from the hood. Frey has fallen in love and not only was he not looking for it but he doesn't even know it yet. I just hate that Yaz keeps playing herself. But she is going to get worse and needs to be cancelled. Hawk is going to self destruct once he realizes all of his prized possessions are on someone else's team. I can't wait for the next installment

Great book, I loved it!!! Hawk was dead wrong, him and Red. She knew he was with Charlie and she accepted it then wanna get mad. So Red sleeping with Hawk's enemy Tek, talk about payback, lol. Yaz was a trip, how you that jealous of your supposedly best friend, Charlie better watch her. She had serious issues. Not Fray, please let him be okay, I hope Charlie or Reg comes to his rescue. I like Fray for Charlie, I hope they make it together inspite of their enemies. Can't wait for part 2!!!!

KC. Mills as always did not disappoint and has proven once again why she is in a league of her own. This book was all that and a bag of Frito Lays. Hawk is a weak excuse for a man and doesn't deserve a woman like Charlie. Yaz is a jealous Bish with no morals and is definitely no true friend Karma is coming at her ten fold. Fray is BAE is is EVERYTHING you want in a man. I pray he comes out on top. Red makes me sick i hope she gets what she deserves. I cannot wait until the 25th to see how things play out. Good Beginning
It took awhile for me to get into it but finally it picked up. I thought Hawk was moving stupid having another man look after his woman. Who does that? Then he's letting him run his business without question. Then there was Charlie in love with a man with a whole family and a jealous best friend. Fray was the only smart one but he was getting side tracked messing with Charlie. Now it's about to get exciting because the way it left off, you know there will be drama. I'm looking forward to Part 2.

Fray is definitely the realest and bae. Always well written, interesting and exciting. Nia is definitely a snake and karma sure served her nice and proper. Hawk is so weak I can't understand how he thinks he's a boss. I can't figure out who is the snake on Fray's team. I was really happy to see Charlie didn't let the bs and opinions stop her from getting to know Fray. Excellent work ❤

Fray is definitely bae. He is a real man through and through. Hawk is such a weak person. I hate what Charlie had to go through, but I'm hoping she comes out on top. Yaz learned a valuable lesson and hopefully she grows from it. This book was attention grabbing from the first page. I can't wait for part 2!!

Fray I know you are not gone because Hawk and Red got something in store for them. I just hate that he caught you like that. So loving the characters, storyline and the plot of this book. It moved at such a steady pace and flow that I had reached the end before I knew it. This book is full of jealousy, envy, betrayal and deceit then add in the suspense and mystery makes a great read. Can't wait to see what unfolds in PT,2 with these characters that I've fallen in love with. Awesome job KC Mills.

I Love Fray! I know he'll be fine because Hawk is too much of a punk to catch him like that. I really need Fray to connect the dots with Tek! I think/hope Yaz proves to be a better friend and tells what she knows about Tek!
I Love Fray! I know he'll be fine because Hawk is too much of a punk to catch him like that. I really need Fray to connect the dots with Tek! I think/hope Yaz proves to be a better friend and tells what she knows about Tek!

That ending...
I'm rooting for Fray and Charlie. I'm glad that she's gotten away from Hawk but he just won't leave her alone. Red is psychotic and I have a feeling she's messing with Tek. Yaz got what she deserved. The storyline is phenomenal. Can't wait for part 2

GREAT BOOK!!!!
It was just what I expected. I loved it. It was a great book. I will recommend this as a must read. I wish I could give it 10 stars...I love Charlie and Fray together. That ending got me wanting more right now. I can't wait to read part 2. Great job K C.....
