Unfortunately this demonstrates some of the flaws with self-published books. There's a good story in there with a solid, well thought through plot. However the main character is too perfect, figures things out too quickly and easily and doesn't really seem to struggle at any point. The other big issue is repetition that can go on within the same paragraph or page, which editing would have really helped with.
