There is a whole Desdemona series! Three books I have never read. I think this is actually the first in the group. Time for a trip to the library!

Hmm. Not as good as the second book. Some witty observations and cutue characters but also some stilted language (what modern child says, "Father sat down..."). I'm on the fence about reading the next one but I think I will eventually.

A pretty good book. The characters were sort of strange, but I liked them all in all. I do want to know what happens next with Desdemona.

It was okay, but went too fast and got a little confusing with all the characters.
