The Kerrigans learn valuable lessons as everything begins to go wrong on their trip to Australia. Their luggage was misdirected, the girls suffer food poisoning, Mr. Kerrigan loses a contact, and their all-purpose vehicle breaks down on a rural road. The Kerrigans learn the valuable lesson that bad things can happen to good people and that it is critical to trust in God even during difficult circumstances.
Gilbert Morris was one of today's best-known Christian novelists. He lived in Gulf Shores, Alabama, with his wife, Johnnie. He is the father to Lynn Morris and Alan Morris
I loved reading this book in the Kerrigan Kids series. In this book the Kerrigan kids travel with their father to Australia so he can write a story on life in the Outback for his job. On their journey they have several setbacks and unexpected detours that slow them down and make them really need to focus on trusting God. Knowing that everything happens for a reason and that even though some things might not turn out the way that you think they will, it will eventually all come together in the end.
