A science book about Slime. Contains facts about slime. Offer vivid pictures of different kinds of slime. This book offers cute slime jokes. It was a great tie in we did with our summer camp making slime and talking about reactions.

The writing craft I see used is Words. Talking about things that are sticky and slimy. I feel like the author could have created a character or someone that we could follow through the story. The only thing I would teach from these is how to use play on words or teach words with different meanings.

The Book of Slime delivers a strapping, stream of slimy science as implied by it's name.

This book displays a great use of words.

This book will be great for teaching alliteration in literacy or as I most recently used it in a STEM science camp on a lesson on polymers (where we actually made slime).
