A willing slave to possession, punishment, pleasure… Dreams of a manor where submission and dominance once ruled draws Faith to hypnotherapist Colin Danes. Potently virile, he’s instantly recognizable as her most cherished master from a past life. The only man she’s ever loved. Desire smolders in his eyes, proving he’s never forgotten her.
Their carnal dance continues in the present and leads to their past when she was known as Eve. Through hypnotherapy, Colin brings her back to the Victorian era, a hidden estate where she eagerly submits to whatever he and her other noble masters crave. The exquisite discipline of the strap. Being bid on and mounted each night. Displayed and used for the enjoyment of all.
Most will take her. One will try to imprison her. Only he will be her true master and beloved in that life and this.
I'm an Amazon and international bestselling novelist who writes passionate romance for every taste - 'heat with heart' - for traditional publishers and indie. Booklist, Publisher's Weekly, Romantic Times, and numerous online sites have praised my work. I've won Readers' Choice Awards, was named a finalist in the EPIC competition, received a Book of the Year Award, The Golden Nib Award, awards of merit in the RWA Holt Medallion competitions, and second place in the NEC RWA contests. I'm featured in the Novel and Short Story Writer's Market. Before penning romances, I worked at a major Hollywood production company in Story Direction.
On a less serious note: I'm an admitted and unrepentant chocoholic, brake for Mexican restaurants, and have been known to moan like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" while wolfing down tostadas. I've flown a single-engine airplane (freaking scary), rewired an old house using an 'electricity for dummies' book, and am horribly shy despite the hot romances I write.
'Return to Ecstasy' by Tina Donahue is Book One in The Series "Her Master's Pleasure". This is the story of Faith Montgomery "Eve' and Dr. Colin Danes "Nicholas". Their story goes through time from around the Victorian time period until the present day. The book starts with Faith getting a paper flyer in her mail box giving Colin's name as a Dr who help people with vivid dreams or thought they might have been reincarnated. Faith goes to his office with the thought that she has met him before but when she arrives it confirmed for her. But even with that knowledge Colin is acting like they haven't but does help to hypnotize and she starts to remember those long ago days when she was Eve and he was Nicholas There she was sold into a House of Lords where she was a sex slave to 'Masters". But will there love make it through to the present day? This was just a very hot story line that for me I couldn't put down. Loved it! This book is the first in an interesting unique series. Even though it really takes place present day, Colin sends Faith back to the Victorian age where they find what they both were missing. This unique twist of the BDSM genre is easy to fall into and it is a really quick read.
Faith Montgomery has flashbacks from another time and decides to see a hypnotherapist to try and figure out where these visions come from.
Dr. Colin Danes is a hypnotherapist with his own opinions of the past and how they are connected to the future.
When Faith and Colin meet there is a recognition of knowing each other yet Colin doesn't admit to recognizing Faith. Faith must now trust Colin to bring her back to the past and figure out how their pasts are related and what happened to them in the past.
This was an interesting story about past lives and whether people are reincarnated and can find love again.
Eve (Faith) fell in love with Nicholas (Colin) at a time where love was not allowed and they had to keep their love a secret. Yet when things are revealed they both suffer because of it.
The book is definitely erotic and I have never read a book about BDSM in the Victorian time before and it was definitely interesting.
I hated Spencer and Radborne and they were definitely evil men who got off on torture. I was totally worried about what was going to happen when it was clear how much vengeance they wanted.
The passion and intensity between Faith and Colin during both periods of time was totally hot. They definitely had chemistry!
