Minnie Stout, along with her sisters and cousins, had been forced after a family tragedy, to become mail-order brides. Now here she was, heading west, WAY west, to California, where she’d never find so much as a crumb of her old life. Unfortunately for Minnie, she didn’t allow herself to imagine a new one, either.
Baker Stillwater was a cowboy first, a businessman second. He also had impeccable taste. Something of an oddity, really, but he didn’t care what other folks might think of him. Except his new mail-order bride, who didn’t know what to think no matter what he did. The poor little thing just couldn’t put a rough cowboy/general storeowner and the beautiful world he’d created for himself, together. But as far as he was concerned, she was just going to have to get used to it.
Enjoy this third installment of mail-order brides going from riches to rags and then some! A clean and wholesome mail-order bride romance!
Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!
NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.

Minnie and Baker are total opposites. She's been raised in privilege and he has earned everything he has. When Minnie's family loses their fortune she is forced to become a mail order bride. So off to California this beauty goes to be met by Baker - all six feet six of him. She has so much to learn from him and his friend Sam and the number one thing is cooking. But along the way she learns so much more.
The belle of the ball one day, poor little rich girl the next. When Minnie's family lost everything overnight, she found herself headed west as a mail order bride. Baker is a self made business man with a cowboy's soul. Together they discover the meaning of true love.
Kit Morgan write such whimsical tales, that you can't put them down. She breaks down stereotypes. You have a giant of a man who kindness and patience and a debutante who can't boil water is the right recipe for love. Can't wait for the next one.
Once again Kit Morgan has taken me into a wonderful setting. Her characters are believable and likeable. Loved the plot and seeing growth in Minnie's character.
This might be one of my favorites in this series...An unconventional cowboy, an exhausted bride and a townswoman bent on making everyone else as miserable as she is.
