Like Love and Respect by Eggerichs, this book attempts to reset how we see marriage and family, but it shifts the focus to an individual approach. Following one couple from near divorce and near suicide to a fully restored home and couple that are primed to reach others for the same one on one miracle that places God in the center of everything rather than an added activity for an already busy schedule. This would be a great book to recommend to couples who want to deepen their relationship with each other and with God.

Real change can only happen in America if each individual family repents of their own sin and changes their own direction. Divorce is just as common in the Christian home and it is the secular world. This book is a rallying cry for Christian's to change our world one home at a time. This change is compared with the Protestant Reformation with Martin Luther as the leader.

I really felt challenged by this book. I have always thought that the break down of society is all rooted in the break down of the family. I do believe that America needs to change. The lack of morality is frightening.

Personally I have a hard time with the books concepts for mothers. I agree that mothering is extremely important and that the world trys to tell mother's that you can have it all by working and being a mom. As a working mom I don't know where my priorities are. I also have to follow what my husband thinks is right for the family.
