A personal tale unfolding a couple’s journey through years of turbulence, change, creating and building, years full of struggle and achievement, times of sorrow and happiness, and of learning and teaching.






Avraham Avi Navah was born in Baghdad and moved to Israel with his family as an infant in 1951. He was raised in Israel and served in the Israeli army. He moved to the United States in 1972 to attend university and after graduation began building a business career. In 2002 he made a career change and attended a rabbinic academy. In 2006 he received his rabbinic ordination and he presently serves as a Rabbi/chaplain in a major hospital in Los Angeles. He resides with his wife in Tarzana, California. “Between the Palm Trees” is his first book.
