This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the original. Due to its age, it may contain imperfections such as marks, notations, marginalia and flawed pages. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions that are true to the original work.
I didn't read this book all the way through. It may be a good reference book for those who want to do research, but it might be a tougher read for those that want to read it leisurely. It is extremely detail-oriented and from what I read is interesting, but is more about the details of certain excavations than the history of them. I'm always interested in Native American history and maybe I'll come back to this one day to focus on Ohio Natives but for now, it's just too much.
