Where to, Sir?

I love funny true stories and this book is a collection of true stories from my past. For example, some very funny stories of getting lost while working as a chauffeur in Los Angeles. You have to make some major adjustments in life sometimes, case in point, I was raised on a small farm a few miles from a village in Co Roscommon where there was two pubs, one shop, a miner bird, ugh yes and a catholic church. Some years later I went from driving a Massey Ferguson 20 tractor on the farm to driving the likes of Rachel Hunter and Tony Curtis around the gigantic city of Los Angeles, the
first guy I drove asked me to pull over and let him drive saying "He couldn't do a worse job" and called me a clueless dimwit imbecile, a bit rough.
Managing apartments there also with a volatile mix of tenants, having a hatchet held to my neck, sugar put in my petrol tank, being attacked by a mob. Then there was the earthquakes, fires floods and riots. Others stories like upsetting the Duke of Edinburgh, finding my cousin hilarious when he’s angry. Listing to what others have to say about my homeland and lots of other droll stories from Ireland and England of the funny people I have encountered over the years. They are very different and meander in and out, but I hope you enjoy them as much as i did telling them.
