This was written by a man who left his fingerprints all over the church in which I presently serve. His name is Jaroslav J. Vajda, & like his Lord Jesus Christ, Pastor Vajda has left me a legacy of good words, good works, & gathered a people for me to serve. "For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in His steps." - 1 Peter 2:21 Having never met the man, I feel his spirit at times in the building in which I now work. His picture with his good wife is on the wall. Today I minister among the remnants of his flock. This book gives a pastor's insight into the lives of 45 saints mentioned in the Bible as examples, mostly in Hebrews 11, that great hall of faith. I thoroughly enjoyed reading each vignette, recognizing my own thoughts in the writing and adding new perspectives. Pastor Vajda is a poet, & I can't wait to catch up with him someday in heaven, but for now I will seek out more of the words he left me to reap.
