Good Days, Bad Days - A Collection of Short Stories

Rate this book
We all have good days and bad. This extraordinarily diverse collection offers both. It bridges the past, present, and future. It skirts the gates of heaven and hell, delves into the realms of love and loss and abduction, takes you down the back alleys of Thailand or into the vastness of the Yukon. Thirty-one tales of intrigue, friendship, marriage, and troubled minds, with even a good old whodunit, will leave you hungry for more.

Good Days, Bad Days is full of stories that are as exciting to start as they are to finish. From the chapters that left me laughing out loud, to the stories which had me turning the page to see what end could possibly come to be, this was a book I couldn’t put down. Each story is completely fresh and inspired. This is truly an enjoyable book with something for everyone.

Well, this was fun! I so enjoyed reading Mr. Mosberg’s short stories, each so different and engaging. I’m jealous of his imagination and ability!
“A Bad Idea” is his first story. Poor David, crushed by his inability to follow his dreams.
Later we meet Charlie Grossman and Emmett Pitt, two elderly New Yorkers. That was sweet.
If you like surprise endings, “Ingénue” sure surprised me! “Life Forms” left me smiling.
Coordinated art heists throughout the world. Justice served! What an imagination!
Human beings, plodding their way through life, each character different, and so many different settings. Such different experiences.
This was an enjoyable collection, and, since I’m a Kindle addict, it was a struggle to turn pages, but worth trying to find good lighting for reading a paperback. Thanks to my dear friend who gave me this book, and thanks to Stew Mosberg for a wonderful ride, or series of rides.

This wasn't as good as I was hoping it to be but it was still okay. The editing was appalling - missing quotation marks, question marks, incorrect spelling of words, extra "a"s and "an"s, and quite often it had "than" instead of "then". The stories themselves were unique however I noticed that majority of the stories were from a male perspective, and as a female reader I noticed the prevalence of the male gaze in these stories. All in all, it was a decent read, but I wouldn't read it again or recommend it to anyone.

I was so anxious to receive my copy of Stew's new book after having read "In the Shadows of Canyon Road". This new book of short stories with "aha" endings showcases Stew Mosberg's broad range of knowledge of the sexes, cultures, and history of our great world. This is a MUST READ for everyone since it has something for everyone.

Rich with details, this is a well researched book. Many of the stories read like documentaries. It was a joy to read! Some of the stories could have concluded at their high point.
