About the author

Paul Johnston studied philosophy at university and completed his D.Phil on Wittgenstein and Moral Philosophy in September 1986. He has worked as a journalist and as a policymaker, but exploring ideas is what he likes best. He is married and has two daughters, which helps remind him that there is more to life than ideas and philosophy. His current focus is philosophy and psychoanalysis.
