The Grace of a Swan: A Story about Nudists

Rate this book
Yoga is different things to different people. For Natalie it is an important element in her life. Yoga is her escape from her harried life in New York. It keeps her in top form for her challenging work as a stockbroker at a busy Wall Street firm. It keeps her body firm and youthful as it can be as she approaches age forty. It is a passion and has been since she left Joplin twelve years ago. When her best friend tells her about a nude yoga class she has tried, Natalie’s life will soon never be the same. She has heard about these nude yoga classes, and always assumed they are for voyeurs and exhibitionists, people looking for hookups and one-night-stands. But since her friend had described something entirely different, and plans to go back, Natalie can’t resist considering it for herself. Without the sexual drama she had imagined, she is intrigued by the notion of doing her favorite poses in the nude. The only roadblock is it is a coed class. But her friend convinces her to try it. The ninety minute class becomes a revelation in her life. Then, after getting dressed, when she is approached by the eccentric male instructor and offered private lessons, she believes he is simply trying to score. What she doesn’t know is what passed through the instructor’s mind the minute he saw her, and again as he witnessed her reluctance to take her clothes off, and again as the class proceeded and he watched her do the poses. What she doesn’t know is her destiny is is like a deck of cards being shuffled before the next hand is dealt.

What a great concept for book enthusiast. If you're like me, you want to find out a little about the book before it goes on your reading list. This is a great place to learn more.

During the past year, I have been working on what I call "The Nudist Series". This is a series of tales about the nudist lifestyle, the people that enjoy clothes-free activities, and how they discovered nudity and became involved. No two books in the series are alike, as nudists are as diverse as society in general.

If you are a nudist and enjoy this genre, or if you are one of thousands that are intrigued by social nudity, take a look at the books available on the subject, and perhaps you'll find a reason to give it a try.

I've lived in Dallas most of my life and have been writing for many years. My favorite hobbies are reading and bike riding. Here in old east Dallas, we have a beautiful nine mile trail around White Rock Lake. I also enjoy cross-country cycling, especially out in far west Texas, where the soul is nourished by the sky, the mountains and the desert terrain.

The author writes the book using the present tense, which is a compelling way of bringing the reader into the scene. He appeals to all the senses as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed this reading experience, other than a few items that could be cleared up with better editing. I'm a relatively slow reader, and usually notice all the misspellings, some of which may just be typos, but the compelling, sensitive story telling makes me want to follow this author and read all his books on this subject matter.

One side note, this book, as far is I know, is exclusive to Kindle. His protagonist is more than. once reading a kindle. He says a few times that "she finished a chapter", suggesting he knows about chapters (lol); however all his books I've read so far are just one long piece of prose, not divided into chapters.
