In this broken world, with divorce at an all time high, we as leaders need to understand the complexities people face in blending families. This is wisdom from the real world. 12 families share their struggles and triumphs in Jesus in the complexity of blending families under one roof. A must read for Christian leaders.

Best Blended Family Book!

This book was so encouraging, eye-opening, and challenging at times. I appreciated the perspective of multiple stories and situations. I would recommend this to anyone who is in a blended family or about to be.

good place to start

My partner and I have had our challenges in building a blended family, both having our own perspectives on how our kids should behave and respect the adults in their lives. While we are well-intentioned, we have not gone about it in the right way, with respect to each other’s children. We have decided to really take a step back and look within. While we have done a lot right, this book offered a good perspective and brings to the forefront the focus on God in how we approach our family life and helping the kids feel more connected. I’m hopeful that using some of these suggestions we can soften our approach and build a strong, loving environment. We are not married, though we hope to in the future. In the meantime, we really want a good foundation, and this offers good suggestions on where to start building that!
