Summary
Paddington writes a post card to his Aunt Lucy. Paddington tells her all about what is happening in London. He talks about what it looks like: lots of streets but not many trees. The people seem to be in a hurry. Some are friendly and welcoming. Others are suspicious of Paddington. Either way, he loves turning the pages of the book because it makes him feel like he is really there. Maybe one day they'll visit London together in real life.
Activity
Pick a place and read a book about it. Imagine that is where you are. Write a postcard to one of your family members about what it is like to be there. Be sure to include the people and places you see. How are they different or the same as where you live right now? Your postcard should be at least one full page.
