A Discourse on the Christian Character and Influence of Washington
Delivered on February 22, 1846 by Reverend B.F. Morris, this is a sermon discussing the life of President George Washington. Modern interpretation of history attempts to portray Washington as being, at best, a deist. This sermon is just a single example of this assertion being false. Morris quotes Washington's Rules of Civility along with several of Washington's other writings.This IS a public domain work.
