A Discourse on the Christian Character and Influence of Washington

Rate this book
Delivered on February 22, 1846 by Reverend B.F. Morris, this is a sermon discussing the life of President George Washington. Modern interpretation of history attempts to portray Washington as being, at best, a deist. This sermon is just a single example of this assertion being false. Morris quotes Washington's Rules of Civility along with several of Washington's other writings. This IS a public domain work. Most editions you will find are unedited OCR versions that contain frequent errors, no formatting (like bold or italicized text) and large gaps where one page ends and the next begins.
