I loved reading this book. Not only does it address some of the major rumors that circulate about vaccines, and how those issues have been handled scientifically, but it also gives some instruction on how to read and understand scientific research so that you're less likely to be taken in by such rumors. The authors have done a great job documenting and summarizing essential research done on each topic, including questions about whether vaccines cause autism, Guillain-Barre, type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, auto-immune dysfunction and others. Much of the information is also available at the website immunizationinfo.org

I really appreciate this book. It addresses so many of my concerns (and actually goes way beyond my concerns). It covers specific information on how vaccines work, how they're tested and licensed, what happens when there is a safety concern, how vaccination schedules and vaccine trials have been carried out in other countries, conflicts of interest between researchers, government and big pharma, etc. It also specifically goes into vaccines and autism, vaccines and autoimmune diseases, and many other disease/vaccine links/concerns. After reading this, I feel much more educated on the issues.
