CONTROL: Ubiquity of Chaos

Rate this book
A world ravaged by a supermutant producing global event and the worst natural disasters ever recorded has become little more than a series of anarchic dictatorships where the strongest mutants rule. Read along as Scott Conklin, a former small town nerd turned into one of these mutants- dubbed "Unleashed"- struggles to survive and restore order. His simple day to day survival soon becomes a fight for the liberation of his country and his world as an old friend ropes him into being the hero. Now if only he would stop going overboard with his combat tactics. Not likely.

I found it rather gripping and a brisk read, sort of like binge watching something on hulu, but it's clearly the first in a series, so a lot of the little things I could nitpick are bound to be improved upon.
Over all, I say it's worth picking up, especially for the price! It's Action Packed and the Main Character is a very cool almost anti hero that walks the line.
