I skimmed this book in advance of a trip to Nebraska. I'm really happy the book exists because there is not a lot out there on Nebraska. It gave me some good ideas for stops during my trip, so served the purpose I was looking for. It had a helpful list of books on Nebraska for children. I would have appreciated something similar for adults. The organization could be made a little more user friendly with more maps and different section headings. It is organized by county, which is not intuitive for someone not familiar with the area.

This is a great book giving an overview of off-the-beaten-path destinations in Nebraska. I'll be plotting out my road trip using this as well as books on the Dakotas.
