Il y a quelques mois un ouvrier trouva sur les bords de la Meuse, entre Chokier et Flémalle, une petite plaque de bronze de 9 centim. De long sur 7 de large. C'était une partie d'une des deux tablettes qui composent les diplômes militaires. Les circonstances dans les quelles la découverte a été faite ne permettent guère d'espérer qu'il soit possible de retrouver les parties qui manquent.
