A neglected widow. A lonely Retired Navy Seal. Can a message from the Java Cupid bring them together?
Lori has never felt like a priority to anyone. Not growing up. Not to her deceased husband or her two grown children. Everyone's needs, wants and desires came before her. Now, alone and filled with regrets, she wishes just one person would make her a priority.
Rigs spent his whole adult life putting his country first. It cost him the love of a good woman and the relationship of a father to his children. Now, in retirement, he had put building his security business as the priority in his life, but he longs for something more. For a personal connection, he’s never had time for.
When a message from the Java Cupid and a work related encounter opens up the possibility of a love connection, will these two be able to make love a priority? Or will the past repeat itself, and these two miss their chance at love?
They say the Java Cupid is never wrong. That he always brings a Happily Ever After. Will an unexpected crisis make this the first time? Or will this couple find love through a Java Priority?
Sophie Dawson has been making up stories in her head ever since she was a child. She lives with her husband on the family farm in Illinois. Two grown sons, a daughter-in-law and granddaughter round out her immediate family.
Sophie does all kinds of needlework and was a professional machine quilter in the past. She loves to travel, read, garden and now write.
In her books, Sophie shares the wisdom God has taught her in stories of faithful living. Her hope is to demonstrate how acting and reacting the way the Bible teaches can bring a positive impact on her readers.
This is a good read. Lori's Husband is dead, Her 2 adult children have lives of their own and have no time for Lori. Rigs is a retired Navy Seal and is not in close contact with his Daughter or ex-wife. He meets Lori and makes her his priority, and makes her feel special for the first time in her life and as a result reunites with his daughter and brings Lorie's children to realize Lorie is special. I was given this book by the author for an honest review.
This is a fun series! I enjoyed the book a lot! The focus on the military was a highlight to me because both my husband and I retired from the Navy! There doesn't seem to be enough military clean romance books in my opinion!! My favorite parts were the growth of the kids and their new understanding of their mom!! Another great book from Sophie!
