A good introduction to someone wanting to cover or reupholster their furniture. Lots of ideas for decorating and upgrading your furniture.

This is less an upholstery book than on slipcovers. It does discuss pillow coverings or seat cushion covering, but does not go into the kind of detail I would require. Having just completed some of the projects discussed, I see the areas I had problems and come away no more informed, sadly. Some of the photos might be useful to people thinking about slipcovering, but those of us brave enough to tackle it in the first place may not need a book that does not go into detail.
There is a short section on "simple uphosltery" towards the end. I urge readers not to be enticed into thinking upholstery is anywhere near "simple." Good uphoslterers earn every cent of their exhorbitant fees.

This is a great how-to book. You can make pretty much any slipcover or actually reupholster something with this book.
