Kylie Jean wants to win a cooking competition so she can donate the prize money to a local food pantry. Her upbeat attitude and thoughtfulness make Kylie Jean a winning character. The secondary characters (including her dog named Ugly Brother) are delightful. The story is well paced and charming. Kid friendly recipes included! The Kylie Jean books are a perfect choice for young readers who want a series they can dig into!

Super cute! Kylie Jean enters a cooking competition during the Thanksgiving holiday season. Will she be the winner? And moreover, will her "secret mission" be successful?

This is the fourth book I've read in this great series. It has good writing, fun storyline, recipes, and glossary. I also like the diversity of the contestants!
