A really interesting anthropological view of Ardoyne during the height of the war in the six counties. This anthropological view of the nationalist community and its relation to the IRA's theoretical approach to anti-imperialist policy links directly to the people themselves. Very very interesting for anyone who wants to have a direct human approach to the situation of the war in the North. Also an interesting analysis of sectarianism within a community at war.

Fascinating participant observation study written by a British sociologist who spent 8 months in Ardoyne 1972-3 at the height of the Troubles.
