Este libro muestra una heurística minuciosa para abordar un tema que es por muchos sobrevaluado y por otros subestimado, el simbolismo. Si bien el autor desarrolla a detalle la forma en la que entiende este tema, permite a especialistas en otras areas observar puntos de contacto y no dar por sentadas definiciones.

الكتاب يعتبر متخصص بدرجه كبيره فى الفلسفه ، ولا يصلح لهواه الفلسفه او غير المتخصص نهائيا. فى نفس الوقت رغم ان عنوان الكتاب يدور حول العوالم الرمزيه فى اكثر من مجال ولكن الكاتب خصص معظم الكتاب للعوالم الرمزيه فى اللغه وحتى عندما تطرق للرمزيه فى الفن والعلم والطقوس كان من خلال اللغه الرمزيه فيهم. لم اجد ما ابحث عنه ولكن اظن انه قد يفيد المتخصصين بصورة ما.

الكتاب الفلسفية الصرفة، غريبة حالها، عندما نفكر في جدواها والهدف منها، لنجده لاشيء بصراحة جدا، الكتاب جيد لمختصي الفلسفة، لكنه غير مجدي لهواتها ولمن يحاول فهمها ففهم تجاوزا، وكما ورد في التعليق من قارئة برتغالية فترجمناها، أن الكتاب محاولة، لكنه لم يكن صائبا بما قدم وماحقق.
