An offbeat comedy about murder, Pop-Tarts, urination, and hyperbolic id compulsion. Ray is an abject moron and possible head-trauma victim who faints a lot, argues with inanimate objects, and is curse-blessed with a supernaturally short attention span. After the sudden death of his wife (whose very existence he constantly forgets,) Ray stumbles his way through mystery, danger, and perpetual distraction in search of snacks and comfortable spots to lie down. If you like books with opossums at the end, look no further!
I've never read a book that made me actually laugh out loud, and this book had me cracking up on nearly every page. It's well-written, unique, strange, unpredictable, and overall fun to read.
