No writing, marks, bookplates, etc. Scholarly research , from the "In this short speculative inquiry into the problem of Leonardo's influence in the 16th century, I have concentrated on a few key examples in Central Italy, since the artistic sovereignty there of Raphael and Michelangelo has tended to mask the continuing significance of Leonardo, even in their own works, so effectively."
