I love everything that I've read by Suzanne Trocme, so far. This book is an odd little exception. The writing is less gripping than usual, but the main thing that stands out are the yellow-tinged digital photographs of what are supposed to be impressive pieces from the twentieth century. The translation of what it means to be a collector and to be able to work with unique items does not come forth in this book.
