Did they really need 650 pages to tell us that exercise and eating lots of fruits and vegetables are the keys to health and longevity? Lame. Basically skimmed through it.

A pretty good, down to earth, no nonsese reference for staying healthy and looking young. Lots of good tips and it is an ejoyable read too! I have read it a few times and still pick it up now and then.

Given to me by a student for my "If you give me a book, I'll read it" challenge. This is by far the funniest response to that (beating being handed the third Twilight book knowing I would read the first two). I learned some things in this book....What girls go through health wise makes me thankful I am a boy. Mad respect to girls. Plus much of the actual health stuff is cross compatible for me.

Even though this is an older book, the topics are relevant and most of the information is accurate. I enjoyed all of it.

This would have been more aptly named 'Eat your fruits and veggies, don't smoke, don't drink, and get your exercise'. Sound familiar? This book is an index of health topics for women and explains each problem and how it is affected by aging. I enjoyed learning more about what I have to look forward to and knowing that I am able to prevent, or lower my risk for, most of the things in here by following my suggested title. It is truly amazing to me to see how much these simple things affect so many different aspects of health. Of course there is more that can be done but it is nice to see a pattern that is attainable. Words of wisdom some might even say.
