If your girl can be stolen, was she ever really yours in the first place? Vaughn Hughes is not the man that you want to leave your girl around. He prefers to mess around with women who are already attached so that he doesn't have to worry about dealing with the confines of a relationship. His whole adult life, he's sexed em' and left em', never feeling like he needed or wanted anything more. But when he lays eyes on Phoenix, he finds himself stuck on her in a way that he never expected. Phoenix Tate is a good girl; a really good girl. She's a doting girlfriend to her man, Destin, works as a middle school drama teacher, creates her own films on the side, and is a loyal best friend, loving sister and daughter to her family. She plays by the rules and keeps it classy at all times. But sometimes the rules are meant to be broken, right? With Vaughn sniffing behind her persistently, Phoenix is caught between what's wrong and what's right, and for the first time in her life, she's unsure of what she should choose. Destin Delgado is living the life; beautiful girlfriend, booming business, flashy lifestyle. But as soon as he realizes that his former friend, Vaughn, is back and has set his sights on his girlfriend, his life starts to spiral out of control in more ways that he would have guessed. Follow this story of an urban love triangle gone wrong in Mr. Steal Your Girl.
Bri you are official with the pen. I knew Vaughn was going to be trouble the minute he showed up. This man depicted the title exactly, but they way it was done had you wanting more. And on every page the author gave you just that. His scenes were like magic to the body. The story is sexy, it's dramatic, and as always there's someone all for themselves. Task with a plan, Vaughn has guaranteed his client it not what he thinks. Yet someone in the camp has other plans. This is when it gets real and out of nowhere bullets get to clapping. The ending almost made me hit the author up, but I had to see what would happen. This vivid page turner will have up in arms tyring to figure out what's next, and just when you think your right, your not. Always Bri good job and keep that pen flowing.
It's crazy the things you'll go through for love. Vaughn and Phoenix were just living in their world's until they collided, and they had to deal with the inevitable. Although Destin didn't deserve the hurt, sometimes things are just not meant to be. This was a crazy love story filled with twists and turns. You never know who's for you and who's against you. Great job in keeping it entertaining and interesting.
From the snippet for this story it was sure to be pure fire...How does a man just brag about stealing another man's girl... I'll tell you. His cocky behind can back up his claim.. The back story and revealing his true occupation had this reader wanting more.... Bri Noreen can you hear me pleading for more...Hot, sexy, steamy, story...
I'm really not a fan of urban and hood love stories but the hero and his shifter side made the book memorable. I guess the winning recipe was the love he felt and pursued for the heroine. The plot was thick and entertaining and overall made it worth your while for a stay at home day of reading enjoyment...
Vaughn was definitely Mr. Steal Your Girl. He came in and swept Phoenix off her feet. I felt bad for Destin though. Dream was too crazy and she needed help or someone to calm her down. Great job I enjoyed it.
This read definitely keep u reading I guess I want more of a bling of an ending for standalone. Phe was still cry over Snow like... bish bye! Now I read for books to movies effect.
I love a good love story and this is truly one. Vaughn was definitely "'Mr. Steal Your Girl" and he did just that the way he came in and swept Phoenix up. I will be reading more of this authors work. Good job!
This was amazing, funny and fun read . Vaughn is every woman dream. Phoenix was a lucky girl. Bri., you have to write another book . This book ended when it was getting better. You left us with too many unanswered questions. Please 🙏😀
This book gave me life!! It was good from beginning to end! I know it is a stand alone but I would love to know what happened to Phe and Vaughn after this. Even Destin and Dream! Great read!
I love Vaughn. For a man who doesn't do commitment or relationships. He fell in love with Phoenix quick. Although I hate Destin got hurt. I love Phe Baby with Vaughn. Dream is just crazy.
I wanna know what will happen to Snow? What will Vaughn and Phe do together. I have so many questions. Please tell me there's a part two, it can't be a standalone. Will there be spend off. Why
Those Delgados were crazy, especially Dream. Poor Destin was a good guy but you can't get in the way of destiny. Phoenix got caught up but she got what she needed in the end. Mr Vaughn was a beast, he definitely is a bad man.
This book was a pleasant surprise. The storyline was good and main characters were on point. Vaughn was the man and I loved him and Phoenix's chemistry. I felt a little bad for Destin but oh well... Enjoyed it.
This book was fire!! Vaughn was a bad motha. He talked and walked a good game and was true to the title. I was on the edge of my seat trying to see how it ended and if it ended well.
This was a good read. I would liked to have had a little more character development that gave insight into why they behaved how they did, but only a few of them were explained fully. Otherwise, it was a good read, an interesting plot with racy scenes and a fast flow.
But I wouldn't expect anything less coming from this Author. I enjoyed the story line, you say you don't like standalone novels but you did your thing!!
