This is a very good textbook on the subject of Violent Offenders. The case studies are interesting and placed applicably, the figures and tables are helpful in explaining processes and the material is thorough for an introductory course on the subject. My only suggestion for future editions is to add two more chapters for the customary 15, because if read in one sitting (using a highlighter or taking notes) as written they get a little long. I recommend this textbook to professors.
