Royal Sagas 4: King James to Cromwell With Elizabeth's wedding desecrated and one of Coudenoure's own viciously murdered, the de Grey's are thrust from their home in the dead of night and scattered to the four winds. From Scotland to Oxford to London and finally to the borders of their beloved estate, the family and their allies must risk all and pledge all to a new patron in order to regain what is rightfully theirs. Share the trials and joys of this courageous family as they defy all odds to regain their life in the storied halls of Coudenoure. The saga of the de Grey clan continues.
From the life and deaths of two kings the Baron de Grey family lives on deeply rooted in Coudenoure Estate. I love this family and their willpower to live on through sickness and health; for richer or poorer. Their love of the land and it's caretakers, family and friends! I am so excited to see this author will continue to write about her characters tapestry underlying their relationship with England's Royalty.
These books are well written and imaginative. I loved their use of language and the unusual nature of the relationship. What bothered me was the overwhelming morose. Until this one, all had ended unhappily. I am relieved to see the de Greys find their HEA after almost two hundred years and five monarchs.
Love this series! The story flows quite smoothly. It has peaked my curiosity to read up on historical figures mentioned in the book. Highly recommend this series definitely needs to be read in order!
I loved all four books in this series of the Royal Sagas. I felt like I knew all the characters involved, as they went forth on their journeys. I enjoyed the history involved also. I wish that this was not the end as I would have continued on to read Book 5.
I loved this series - I read it from start to finish and was fascinated. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical fiction. It is very well written and keeps you interested all the way.
