Karen Gordon is an indie author who loves supporting strong and sexy women in fiction and in real life.
Born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri, she found her love of extraordinary stories about ordinary places by finding excitement in mundane suburbia. Although she currently writes romance and chick lit, you never know what she might do next. (You'll never find a woman-hating, bad-boy hero though.)
She currently lives with the loves of her life, three very cool geeky men and one perfect puppy, just outside of Memphis, TN.
She no longer plays by the rules and she's creating her own version of happily ever after.
The final book in the series shows just how far Vivienne has come. Her life isn't perfect, but it's perfect for her. And she trusts that she can handle anything that comes her way in the future.
Check out this final book to find out what happens to all your favorite characters: Dom and her family, Danny(!), Carla, Annalize and Mikel, Evan, Sebastian and of course, Vivienne. I wrote it so I can tell you it's a fantastic, unique, satisfying HEA.
(And a HUGE thank you to all who have taken this journey with Vivienne and me.)
I loved this book. Celestial is the perfect way for this series to end. This really is a fun series. Karen Gordon has taken us on a journey with Vivienne, her jobs, and her men. There was a point in this book I just wanted to give Vivienne a hug and cheer her on, I think she is finally, totally comfortable in her own skin and with her life. Vivienne (Viv) is a strong woman and I just loved watching her grow in this series. In order to understand where Vivienne has come from, what she has been through, you need to start with the first book Fearless Flying. I Highly Recommend this book and series. I can't wait to see what Ms Gordon has in store for her reads next...
I have truly enjoyed reading the series. However, I was disappointed with this book. I felt there wasn't closure with several things in this book. It's almost as if there's a cliffhanger waiting for that next book to finalize the storyline. With that being said, I did find that the this book and the other books in the series are well thought out and the characters are developed enough that you can take your imagination a little further. I find that this series is well worth the read. The books are short enough that you can read one a day or read half one day and half another day.
I devoured this entire series as soon as it came out and I loved each installment. Unfortunately, though I still liked it, this was definitely my least favorite of the series. I didn't expect everything to be wrapped up neatly with a bow, but I did think it would have felt like some sort of ending.
There was closure with Danny and I was happy with how that turned out, but as for everything else, nothing seemed liked it moved forward at all. The end felt like I was waiting for the next installment in the series.
